Welcome to Cha House
An Asian-Inspired Tea House
Ni Hao, and welcome to Cha House, an Asian-inspired tea house, influenced by the tastes and traditions of Taiwan. At Cha House, we craft the richest flavors, spices, and aromas to blend the perfect cup of tea.
Quality is at our core and we won't settle for anything less. Working directly with farmers and suppliers in Asia, we ensure our drinks and our dishes consist only of authentic and pure ingredients.
Whether it's our premium loose-leaf blends, our brown sugar boba, or a signature Taiwanese street dish, we work hard to bring out the most in our Taiwanese tradition of flavor without sacrificing the well-being of our heritage, our families, our global community and you, our customer.
The humble beginnings
My sister Lulu (Ya Wen) and I, Julia (Ya Huei), were born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. In the heart of the city, on Wuxing Street in the Xinyi District, we grew up working in our parents restaurant. It specialized in a popular, cold noodle dish and Taiwan Oolong tea.
Our parents would rise before the sun seven days a week to begin their daily preparations. Watching them, we learned to embrace hard work, and were taught to treat customers as though they were family. From their mentoring, an aspiration was born: to one day open our own shop, one that welcomed customers with warm service and quality food.
The owner and employees were very friendly. They were very patient and helped us pick our drinks. The Strawberry Matcha and Mango Matcha were very good. We would definitely order them again!
The Cha House Difference
We use loose leaf teas in all of our drinks, and source only from farmers we know and trust in Taiwan.
Selecting tea plantations from the high mountain ranges of Nantou and Ali Shan, our tea is exposed to much cooler temperatures and is shielded from the sun by perpetual mists. The result is a Cha House tea that’s much less bitter, and much more rich.
Just. Pure. Matcha.
Cha House Matcha is grown in Nishio, in the heart of Aichi Prefecture, Japan. A historic tea-cultivating region dating back to the 1200s, Nishio's stable climate, pristine waters, fertile soil and remoteness from urban development foster tea leaves that are more resiliently green and full of nutrients.
Our snack bar offers up some of the most appetizing, authentic foods from the streets of Taipei, Taiwan.
We just wouldn't feel right in allowing our customers to miss out on the famous Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, Green Onion Pancakes, Shaved Snow Ice, or Tea Stew Pork. And, we have so much more!
